Notes:

  • Menses started. At least the headache the last few days has been mild thus far. More like tension headaches, which include shoulder and neck pain. All stress related I think.

  • 20oz bottle of Moxie (if you have never had this soda, I have no way of explaining it)
  • 3 handfuls of potato chips with bean dip
  • 1 cup strawberries

Notes:

  • Found out I weigh 158 pounds today, so I’m still losing weight. Target weight is 140 but I’m not actually trying to lose weight. My appetite is shit. What I eat is shit. I’m starting to get worried about this. I’m hoping to plateau despite this med. The only sure fire way I know how to increase my calorie intake with a shit appetite is the lazy way with a high fat content which I can’t do with this med. My cholesterol is already high and this med already comes with a warning label against a ketogenic diet. So in the end, a high fat diet may not help me keep my weight up ironically – while also killing my kidneys. I think it’s seriously time to see about getting counsel from a dietician again. I just don’t have enough education and training in this. Only enough to make me worried.

Hours of Sleep: bed @ 10pm night before, up @ 5am – 7 hours total – Additional “sleep” between 11am and 6pm due to migraine, if you can call it that.

  • 600mg Ibuprophen @ 4pm

  • chips with cheese dip

  • chicken nuggets with fries

Notes

  • Didn’t notice an aura the day before, but woke up with the budding of a migraine and it ended up going full blown by mid-day. Spent the afternoon on the couch, in and out of it.

Notes

  • I find it odd that my migraine symptoms are different when they come just before menses versus just after. When it’s just before, the aura is present. When it’s just after, the aura isn’t. I wonder why that is. But then again, I did have a headache without an aura for a couple of days before menses started. Maybe I need to change the way my migraine score works. A number for the pain and an “A” to indicate the presence of an aura. Need some way to include the non-migraine headaches on that pain scale without creating a new scale.
