Last night I posted the Evening Routine Visual Chart that is intended to help us relax and prep for bedtime. Tonight I’m posting the Morning Routine that gets us up and ready for the day.

Once again, I’ve created a template based off my schedule using Open Office that you can download here. It should look like this:

Now as you can see this one is significantly different that my other charts because this is where my family has everyone one doing different things at different times. Basically right off the bat my day goes crazy. There is a reason my family is called The Goblin Horde. We earned it.

I’ll show you how I address it once everyone columns are added to the chart. Now my chart looks like this:

Now you can see how I filled in each block that doesn’t apply to the family member. This way I don’t have a million charts for each part of the day.

Oh, what’s that Mama Day Event thing? I talked about that in this post a while back. Basically it’s just me taking part of the day once a week to spend one-on-one time with one of the boys. I stuck myself in that rotation too so once a month I get a day to myself. The plan worked well for a while, but the babysitting for it fell through. I’m hoping to get it back up and running so I’m making sure to put it back in there.

So now take the time to customize your chart to meet your family’s needs, print it off, slip it into a sheet protector, and add it to the rest of your charts!
