The week started out feeling busy as hell but has died to a dull crawl by the weekend. I doubt our entire summer will be like this, but if it is I’m fine with that.

Notes
- Tuxedo Cat got another gold medal today – this time for the 100m Walk – this is the first year I’ve seen him so competitive, there were 3 other kids in his age group and right from the start they were jogging which made him angry but he just kept walking like he was supposed to. It was hard to see the other kids get disqualified for breaking the rules and to see them be upset, but I am proud of my kiddo for sticking to the rules.
- I just wished he hadn’t yelled the way he had about the rules at the start of the race, but he listened and calmed down to focus on what he needed to be doing. So I’m also proud of him for reigning in his temper like he had and not letting it derail him. My family has always had problems with temper so it’s a big deal to see him get a handle on it this young but then again of all my sons, he is the one that’s usually mild mannered to start with. Honestly I was more surprised that he blew up over it to begin with.
- So we took him to breakfast then afterwards he watched the last Resident Evil movie with his dad at our place. He really liked the movie in the theater and his dad hadn’t seen it yet. At this point it was all I could do to keep my eyes open and by the time the movie was over, I was pretty much passed out.
