It’s that time of year again and I bring you a song list of TWELVE songs to make up for missing last week’s rally. These are my holiday favorites along with three new pieces from Sia’s new album.
Opening this list includes my all time favorite, the Starlight Celebration theme music from FFXI that plays in Lower Jeuno this time of year. There’s just something truly festive about it that respects all beliefs and backgrounds. I think the composer did a fantastic job with it for the game. And yes, you’ll likely see this piece in my playlist every year! Totally not sorry about that. This in-game event, along with their Sunbreeze Festival, has so many fond memories for me.
During the game’s event, you can earn bells that play notes. Someone was kind enough to write out the commands needed for Carol of the Bells here, which I think is pretty cool. It’s a shame I didn’t think to get a group of people together to play it with these bells for a video. Maybe next year?
