What you need to remember in times such as these is that your voice, and your opinion, matters too. Particularly if this is your life that’s being discussed here. No one owns you. Not even your parents.

You are the only person that is stuck living your life.

So you may as well be living it according to your decisions and whatever consequences that come with them.
