Conserve where you can and give to others without expectation.

Whether we like to admit it or not, the real reason behind our lack of generosity when we have the resources available is because we believe we won’t receive anything back in return. This belief stems from either fear, greed, or both.

The reality is though, none of these things will matter when we die. We won’t be taking any of it with us, so all we’re doing when we worry about it is generating stress and misery.

So yes, absolutely conserve and manage your resources. Don’t allow yourself to bleed out, but when you have a surplus give to those in need without expectation.
