Are you actively listening to the heart of what is being said, or are you spending most of your time being defensive?

It’s not enough to just hear the words being spoken. We also need to take the time to understand the meaning behind those words.

What is your true intent going into the conversation? Do you truly desire connection here or are you only aiming to win at any cost? Be mindful of your intentions because often times in relationships you can’t have both.
