In this coming week’s #wellness #tarot challenge, involves letting go in order to move on to better things to act without the fear of failure while granting yourself the grace and compassion you need to do so. Read on for details!

This Coming Week’s Reading

Intro-06-10-19The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.

And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.

I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

The Challenge: Page of Wands

The challenge this coming week is to be willing to do things without the fear of failure.

Monday-06-10-19Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Page of Wands.

This card represents the youthful energy behind the spark of ideas and creativity. It includes the learning process that goes along with that and having the courage to fail if necessary in order to succeed eventually in the long run. After all, as Stephen McCranie once said: “The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried.”

The challenge this coming week is to be willing to do things without the fear of failure.

The Lesson: Eight of Cups

The hard lesson here that we all need to embrace is that life flows in one direction, like a river, and in order to find peace, we need to move with its current rather than against it.

Grim-06-10-19Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Eight of Cups.

This card is about leaving things behind you in order to move forward. It could be the past. It could be a lost cause of some kind. Anything that is no longer serving you. Sometimes it’s something we don’t want to let it go but need to anyway.

The hard lesson here that we all need to embrace is that life flows in one direction, like a river, and in order to find peace, we need to move with its current rather than against it.

View the phases in your life as stepping stones towards bigger and better things.

Grim-Monday-06-10-19Whether or not you see leaving a phase behind as a failure, it’s certainly not the end of the world. See it as a lesson learned and a stepping stone toward something bigger and better. Ever upward and onward.

The Inner Lie: Page of Swords

The false belief to overcome here is that you deserve the same grace and compassion from yourself as you would give to someone else you deeply love.

Murphy-06-10-19Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Page of Swords.

This page in the tarot court is someone of keen insight, mental agility, and truthfulness. Seeing it here in Murphy’s position means we need to be vigilant about the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves.

When you have a conversation with yourself, and we all do it whether it’s out loud or not, what kinds of things are you saying? Are you kind and loving? Are you honest and fair? Are you forgiving?

The false belief to overcome here is that you deserve the same grace and compassion from yourself as you would give to someone else you deeply love.

Both mindsets, to act without fear of failure and to give yourself more grace and compassion, will take time and practice to master.

Murphy-Monday-06-10-19One page, the Page of Wands, is asking you to learn to act without the fear of failure while the other, the Page of Swords, is asking you to learn to give yourself grace and compassion through insight and honesty.

These are keystone mindsets to adopt here. Neither are going to happen magically overnight and both are going to take practice to master, but they are worth it.

Part of the letting go process includes how forgiving we are of ourselves when we tell these stories each time.

Murphy-Grim-06-10-19Part of the letting go process includes how forgiving we are of ourselves when we tell these stories each time.

Remember to be kind and loving. You are only human living a human experience like everyone else on this wild ride.

Figuring out what works and what doesn’t isn’t a long series of failures.
It’s a journey of discovery.

Murphy-Grim-Monday-06-10-19I hope that as you look at these cards you’ll see that while this is a learning process, there isn’t exactly any failure involved here.

The Wisdom: Six of Swords

The wisdom to keep in mind for this coming week is to focus on what you’re moving towards and what you’re working for.

Toad-06-10-19Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Six of Swords.

This card echoes the Eight of Cups somewhat in the sense that it speaks of forward movement. However, the difference here is the focus on what is ahead of you rather than what’s behind. It’s always been about the relief that is coming.

The wisdom to keep in mind for this coming week is to focus on what you’re moving towards and what you’re working for. Why do you do the things you do? What motivates you every day? Keep this in mind as you start each day.

Personal growth doesn’t occur in the comfort zone.

Toad-Monday-06-10-19The Page of Wands is someone willing to try new things without fear of failure while the Six of Swords is forward movement with the intent of finding something better.

Better things in your life cannot be found if you’re holding yourself back in fear for whatever reason. Personal growth doesn’t occur in the comfort zone.

Once you release the dead weight of whatever it is that’s no longer serving you and you focus on where you want to be, you’ll find your life has greater momentum.

Toad-Grim-06-10-19I mentioned this earlier how these two cards had some similarities.

The Eight of Cups focuses on loss, whether it’s willing or unwilling, something has to be let go of before forward movement can begin. Whatever it is, it’s a weight that blocks you even if you can’t see that yet.

Meanwhile, with the Six of Swords, you see this upward and rising movement in the image of the card as the pair is traveling. Nothing is stopping them, holding them back, or preventing them from going where ever it is they want to go.

Once you release the dead weight of whatever it is that’s no longer serving you and you focus on where you want to be, you’ll find your life has greater momentum.

Learn to be comfortable with the time and investment it requires
to get where you want to be in your life.

Toad-Murphy-06-10-19Be gentle and kind to yourself as you move forward in life. Not every goal you have can be achieved in a single day. Some goals may take a year or more to complete.

Learn to be comfortable with the time and investment it requires to get where you want to be in your life.

Conclusion

Let go in order to move on to better things to act without the fear of failure while granting yourself the grace and compassion you need to do so.

All-06-10-19Pulling back to examine the entire spread, I feel the heart of message here is really the Eight of Cups and the Six of Swords.

Let go in order to move on to better things to act without the fear of failure while granting yourself the grace and compassion you need to do so.
