In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we explore how manifestation operates in two phases, a passive and an active, but both are dependent upon where your focus is leading you. Read on for details!
This Coming Week’s Reading
The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.
And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.
I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

The Challenge: Four of Cups
Take stock of what’s going on in your life emotionally and be really honest with yourself about it.
Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Four of Cups.
This card warns us that what we focus on, grows.
Sometimes we do need to focus on ourselves in order to get well. This is self-care. Other times we become self-absorbed and shut others out. This is selfishness. It is critical for you to know the difference between the two and act accordingly.
The other danger here is apathy, emotional disassociation, or alexthymia. It’s where we shut both ourselves and others out. We become an emotional blank.
Which of these do we want to grow?
The challenge for this coming week is to take stock of what’s going on in your life emotionally and be really honest with yourself about it.
Are you taking proper care of yourself? Are you pushing people away that you shouldn’t be or normally wouldn’t? Are you able to name and claim your emotions on a nuanced level? How can you adjust your habits in response to your answers?
The Lesson: Seven of Pentacles
Have patience, know what to look for, and be grateful for what you have.
Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Seven of Pentacles.
This card represents patience, assessment, and gratitude. The last thing to ever grow on any tree is the fruit and that takes time. Pick the fruit too soon and you end up with an unripened harvest you can’t eat. Wait until the time is right and you’ll have a bounty that you can enjoy.
The lesson here is to have patience, know what to look for, and be grateful for what you have.
The mind has a way of magnifying whatever it is you choose to laser in your attention onto through confirmation bias.
What are you honestly focused on in your life right now? This is an important question because the mind has a way of magnifying whatever it is you choose to laser in your attention onto.
So if you find yourself dwelling on what you lack and low vibrational things, your mind with magnify this. Then confirmation bias will kick in. Your subconscious mind will start seeking out more of it in your life. As a result, you’ll end up harvesting more of it into your life. And it becomes a negative feedback loop.
This is one way in which manifesting works.
This isn’t to say we never acknowledge the bad things in life, but it does mean we need to place a greater focus on what we have and high vibrational things in order for the mind to magnify them and to get confirmation bias to activate on that.
The Inner Lie: The High Priestess
Trust your intuition because the patterns don’t lie.
Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the High Priestess.
This card represents the intuition and subconscious mind.
Too often we are quick to dismiss our intuition for one reason or another. However, it’s an inner knowing built within the subconscious programming. Science has now come to know that intuition is in fact pattern recognition.
Behavioral patterns, visual patterns, audio patterns – you name it. Anything you have ever been exposed to in life is stored in the brain. So the older you get, the more powerful your intuition becomes because the more patterns you have stored.
So when something sparks your intuition, it is because your subconscious mind has picked up a pattern and now your conscious mind is interpreting that message from that part of the brain.
This isn’t to discount the spiritual community. If anything, I believe what the science has to say is reinforcing what the community has been saying forever.
Trust your intuition because the patterns don’t lie.
You know what it is you really need to be focusing on right now if you’re listening to your intuition.
Where has your focus been lately and where does it truly need to be? Are you lost and stuck in your head, or are you out living your life and following your heart?
You know what it is you really need to be focusing on right now if you’re listening to your intuition. Allow it to guide you.
Success always leaves clues.

Don’t get too caught up and lost in your head when you are still working towards your goals. Even when things don’t go according to plan, try to focus on the good that has come out of it and what is working in your favor. The patterns of your success will show you the path you need to continue to take.

The wisdom here is be willing to explore, learn, and discover new ideas and concepts. Challenge yourself with what you don’t know. Brave the unknown and ask those questions as they arise.
Once you have a plan it’s time to emerge and act upon what you have in your head.
Live inside your head only long enough to discover, explore, form, and sort out your ideas. This is only the first phase of manifestation. Once you have a plan it’s time to emerge and act upon what you have in your head. Start planting those seeds.
At no point is there anything wrong with changing plans or switching directions if you’re not happy with how things are going.
