Introducing the Chaos Wave

Starting next week, every Saturday we will explore tarot music one card at a time in a featured post.

Part of of this will help us to map additional associations to each card in our subconscious minds, but by the time the series is complete we will have a song list for each card for other uses.

In many ways, we can treat this as an extension of the Emotional Tarot series that I’ve been running on here. You can choose music from any genre, based on the lyrics, or solely on how the piece makes you feel.

Introduction of the Card

In this section I’ll introduce the basics of the card and since I’ll be following the same sequence as the other exploration series, I will be linking over to the corresponding card for its basic meanings so we won’t need to repeat that information here.

Card Examples

I’ve decided to feature only four different decks per card and cycle through my collection as we progress. It’s my hope that this will give a wider range to work with as we select musical pieces for our play lists.

The Exercise

The exercise for this one is to choose another keyword to add with the existing collection for the card. Then to select at least four music pieces based upon those keywords to create a play list.

What this Card Means to Me

This section is where I will share my efforts working with the card. I’ll will reveal my new keyword and the playlist I’ve come up with.
