In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we explore remaining mindful of the fact that the universe isn’t designed to destroy you and that your thoughts and emotions aren’t the pilots of your life. Read on for details!
This Coming Week’s Reading
The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.
And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.
I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

The Challenge: Five of Pentacles
Whenever you encounter a rejection or experience a lack, instead of obsessing over this focus on seeking out the next opportunity.
Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Five of Pentacles.
This card is often called the poverty card, but it is also related to rejection and how we perceive these two things. Noticed how this couple appears to be wandering in the snow and the dragon spirits in the background seem to be scorning them. Meanwhile the couple seems to be oblivious to the coins on the ground despite how the two tiny dragons look like they are trying to draw their attention to them.
The challenge this coming week is whenever you encounter a rejection or experience a lack, instead of obsessing over this focus on seeking out the next opportunity.
The Lesson: Knight of Wands
Be bold enough to go on that adventure and reach for your dream regardless of what it might look like to others.
Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Knight of Wands.
Knights represent the teenager or messenger within the court of the tarot while wands represent the courageous and passionate spark of the soul. So here we have the restless need for adventure. There is a desire to be daring but also the fear of being seen as the idiot. Some of us just embrace that, like this knight in the image of the card here reaching for the moon.
Does he look foolish to you or does he inspire you? Whether he touches the moon or not, he gets to experience an exhilarating ride of a lifetime. His journey. And no one will ever be able to take that away from him.
So the lesson here is to be bold enough to go on that adventure and reach for your dream regardless of what it might look like to others. Allow yourself to have the experience of a lifetime. Allow yourself to say I at least reached for the moon.
Even if things don’t go exactly as planned when reaching for your dreams it doesn’t mean things aren’t working out in your favor.
So here’s the thing to keep in mind, even if things don’t go exactly as planned when reaching for your dreams it doesn’t mean things aren’t working out in your favor. Always keep your eyes open for opportunity. Abundance is available to you as long as you remain open to it.
The Inner Lie: Five of Wands
Life isn’t some battle royal that the universe has thrown you into that you need to win as the last man standing.
Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Five of Wands.
This card represents challenges, conflict, and competition.
The imagery in this card is pretty straight forward. We have two people with their tiny fire dragons locked in a magic battle. It doesn’t look friendly at all.
The false belief to overcome here is that life isn’t some battle royal that the universe has thrown you into that you need to win as the last man standing. Life isn’t a competition. The universe isn’t set out to destroy you. You are only here to experience life, live in your purpose, and evolve your soul. That’s it. The challenges that come your way serve to strengthen you.
What needs to happen is a shift in your mindset and a realignment of your habits so that the universe can reflect that back instead.
The universe is a reflection of you and the energy you are pouring into it. This means that is you are constantly focusing on thoughts of rejection and what you don’t have, your actions will align with that. As a result, the world around you will confirm and reinforce your beliefs. This will increase the struggle you are experiencing.
What needs to happen is a shift in your mindset and a realignment of your habits so that the universe can reflect that back instead.
You can rise above the challenges you face while reaching for your dreams if you learn how to prioritize your time and energy.
You can rise above the challenges you face while reaching for your dreams if you learn how to prioritize your time and energy.
If it’s urgent and important, then this is your highest priority and needs to be your one thing for the day. If it’s not urgent but still important, then it needs to be planned for. If it’s urgent but not important, then you need to delegate it to someone else. Finally, if it’s not urgent and not important, then you need to drop it completely.
You will never touch the moon if you are carrying too much weight. Learn to carry only what you must.
You really need to focus on what you need to be doing that will move you toward your goal.
When we get mired in unnecessary contention and conflict, we lose sight of our dreams which leaves us feeling bereft and denied in life. In order to break this cycle, you really need to focus on what you need to be doing that will move you toward your goal. Anything else is a distraction.
The Wisdom: Queen of Cups
Be receptive to how people, things, and situations feel to you and to allow that information to guide your responses appropriately.
Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Queen of Cups.
Queens represent the mature feminine energy within the court while cups represent the watery flow of creative and emotional energy. So here we have the receptive and intuitive nature that comes with creativity and emotions.
The wisdom here is to be receptive to how people, things, and situations feel to you and to allow that information to guide your responses appropriately.
We need to allow the universe to flow without resistance.
When we feel bereft of something it’s because a door has been closed in our lives. Anytime we experience this we need to become mindful to open ourselves up to receive because that door was closed in order for something else to come in elsewhere. We need to allow the universe to flow without resistance.
Guard your heart.
Guard your heart. You have the power to choose what energy and emotion to take in and claim as your own. You have the power to simply observe and allow it to flow by you instead of weighing you down. You have dreams and grand adventures you desire. Don’t allow the emotions and energy of others overburden you to the point of preventing you of reaching for the moon.
When you find yourself challenged or in conflict, do your best to prevent emotions from overwhelming you in the situation.
When you find yourself challenged or in conflict, do your best to prevent emotions from overwhelming you in the situation. The moment you become overwhelmed, your judgement and decision making processes becomes clouded.
To prevent this, you will need to learn how to receive the emotional information and allow it to flow by you without resistance or claiming it as your own. Observe your own emotions and release them as though you were a third party. Remember, you are neither your thoughts nor your emotions and you can choose how to respond to both.
Conclusion
Remain ever mindful of the fact that the universe isn’t designed to destroy you and that your thoughts and emotions aren’t the pilots of your life.
Manage the flow of emotions as you control what you focus on when you reach for your dreams and navigate the challenges in your life.
Remain ever mindful of the fact that the universe isn’t designed to destroy you and that your thoughts and emotions aren’t the pilots of your life. You pilot the ship we call the human body and thus, you can choose what you do in response to any stimuli you receive at any time.
