In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we explore reclaiming your power through your authentic self. Read on for details!
This Coming Week’s Reading
The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.
And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.
I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

The Challenge: The Star
The challenge this coming week is to reach out more to others with your authentic self.
Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Star.
In the image of this card, there is a woman standing completely naked on the edge of the water at the beach with her dog standing watch. She is totally safe in her vulnerability as she reaches up towards the stars.
The challenge this coming week is to reach out more to others with your authentic self. Practice with being vulnerable in order to find true connection and belonging. Don’t do this blindly. Even the woman in this card has her dog to protect her. Open up to those who have earned your trust in stages.
The Lesson: Seven of Cups
There comes a point where the time for thinking must end and a decision must be made.
Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Seven of Cups.
In the image of this card we have an acolyte holding an empty glass before a high priestess of Bast. Behind her head float five empty cups and in her hand she holds a glass of milk. Her free hand covers this glass. She appears to be waiting for something from the acolyte. It is almost as if a decision is about to be made. In this image, someone’s fate hangs in the balance.
The lesson here is that there comes a point where the time for thinking must end and a decision must be made. Otherwise, you can sit there forever daydreaming about what could be or what might have been.
When you are comfortable with your authentic self, making decisions becomes easier.
When you are comfortable with your authentic self, making decisions becomes easier. You will know with certainty what is right for you without the input from others. Your fate will no longer be in the hands of others.
The Inner Lie: Eight of Cups
Not everything is worth fighting for.
Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Eight of Cups.
Here in this card we see that the high priestess of Bast has decided to dismiss the acolyte with nothing. There are so many other empty cups left behind him. It is clear that many trips have been made before to no avail. It looks like this time however, the acolyte is keeping the cup from this trip rather than to leave it with her.
Sometimes despite the effort and investment you have put into something, you need to let it go and walk away with your dignity. Not everything is worth fighting for.
If it means losing your sense of self, then it isn’t worth it to keep fighting for.
If it means losing your sense of self, then it isn’t worth it to keep fighting for. Walk away from it. Always remember who you are and your value.
Become reliant on yourself to get whatever it is you need at any time.
If you give away your power to others and allow them to decide for you, you’re going to end up unhappy in life. Take back your power. You are the architect and engineer of your life. You do not need to supplicate yourself before anyone in order to build the life you want.
Another way to look at this is, if you depend on others to feed you then you are giving them the power to starve you. Once you have the power to feed yourself, you will never go hungry. So become reliant on yourself to get whatever it is you need at any time.
[insert Murphy, Monday, and Grim Card Combo summary]
Remember your worth and walk away from whatever doesn’t grow you. Do not reduce yourself in the name of fitting in or approval. Your authentic self knows exactly what you need when you need it. All you need to do is trust yourself enough to get those needs met.
There’s nothing wrong in asking other people for help. The problem is when you become solely dependent on someone to the point of dysfunction. Think of it like going to a store. If that store doesn’t have what you need, you go to a different one. It’s the same with people. If one person can’t help you, you don’t stick around and keep bugging them. If you really need the help, you move on to ask someone else.
The Wisdom: The Fool
Adventure and new beginnings are available to those willing to get out there and embrace it.
Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Fool.
Here we have an image of a large, infantile being playing a flute that emits dancing spirits into the air. He appears to be completely unaware that there is a huge world to explore beyond the ledge he is sitting on. I don’t think he looks all that happy, and judging from the filth, he’s been there a long time too. It seems he is outgrowing the space as well.
The advice here is that adventure and new beginnings are available to those willing to get out there and embrace it. It’s not going to drop in your lap if you just sit around and wait for it. Doing that will only result in you growing too big and uncomfortable in the space you’re in. At some point, you will need to step out of your comfort zone in order to grow further.
Have the courage to embrace your vulnerability as you step out of your comfort zone in order to reach for your dreams.
Have the courage to embrace your vulnerability as you step out of your comfort zone in order to reach for your dreams.
That song the infantile being is playing represents all he longs for, but those dreams aren’t where he is right now. They are somewhere out there in the big, wide world. The woman understands this and has started to plot her course.
Listen to the song in your heart, and decide for yourself what you should be doing.
Don’t allow someone to decide for you what your dreams should be or how you should act upon them. Listen to the song in your heart, and decide for yourself what you should be doing. Follow this song.
No matter what happens in life, carry the song of your heart with you.
No matter what happens in life, carry the song of your heart with you. Don’t let it go. Don’t give it away. It is yours and yours alone. It’s not just your dream, but your vibe. There are people out there that will hear it too and won’t turn you away. These people are your tribe. So carry it and stay true to it.
Conclusion
The song of your heart is the core of your being, your authentic self.
Being your authentic self requires you to reclaim your power and to walk away from anything that isn’t true to you. It also requires embracing and listening to the song within you for it is your vibe. The song of your heart will guide you in decisions and help you find your tribe. This song is the core of your being.
