2019 Chaos Rally #51

In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we explore how accepting the truth for what it is brings us greater peace and fulfillment. Read on for details!

This Coming Week’s Reading

CR-01-12-20-19The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.

And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.

I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

CR-02-12-20-19

The Challenge: Queen of Swords

Recognize the truth in things and to accept it for what it is with grace.

CR-03-12-20-19Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Queen of Swords.

Queens represent the mature feminine energy within the court of the tarot while swords represents the airy swiftness of the mind. Look how still and noble this faerie queen stands as the breeze floats around her and the butterflies dance in front of her. She is at complete peace with herself. So with this card we have the intuitive reception and understanding of the truth and the surrender that comes with that.

Surrender doesn’t mean giving up exactly, but it does mean allowing things to be what they are. And this is the challenge this coming week, to recognize the truth in things and to accept it for what it is with grace.

The Lesson: Six of Cups

Look for the simple, quiet, and peaceful moments in your life.

CR-04-12-20-19Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Six of Cups.

Here we have a small, elfin-like child playing tea with her dolls next to a koi filled river. It’s peaceful. It’s sweet, quiet, and simple. It’s happy. What more could anyone ever want?

The lesson here is that happiness is quiet. Positivity is quiet. It’s the negativity that is loud. It’s ugly things in the world that wants to flood you. Don’t forget this. Look for the simple, quiet, and peaceful moments in your life. Allow your inner child to guide you.

You can find goodness in the world if you take the time to be still and look for it.

CR-05-12-20-19You can find goodness in the world if you take the time to be still and look for it. The world isn’t as dark as the media and political propaganda would have you believe. They want you out there constantly rushing around, consuming their garbage. So stop. Pause. And just enjoy the quiet moments where you can.

The Inner Lie: Five of Swords

Life doesn’t need to be a constant struggle.

CR-06-12-20-19Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Five of Swords.

Here we have an angelic, armored elf with two black swans, all bearing swords. They look ready for battle, but why?

Life doesn’t need to be a constant struggle. Who or what are you struggling against and why? Is it truly necessary? Is this a hill you are willing to die on? Choose your battles wisely for some just need to be walked away from.

Look deeply into the truth of why you are struggling.

CR-07-12-20-19Look deeply into the truth of why you are struggling. Too often it’s because we are unwilling to accept the truth of what is and allow our ego to get in the way. We want to change what is rather than change ourselves or move on.

The reason for this is because it’s more comfortable to stay with what we know than to embark with something new. Yes, the struggle is comfortable because we are at least familiar with it, but the idea of changing or moving on is uncomfortable so we resist it. Stop resisting. Start changing and move on.

When you choose your battles wisely, your life becomes more simple.

CR-08-12-20-19When you choose your battles wisely, your life becomes more simple. You increase the peace and quiet in your life. Your life has greater happiness overall. The reason for this is because your life is no longer an every day struggle.

Pause to think about what’s going on before you act.

CR-09-12-20-19Release the need to fight every battle by recognizing the truth of a situation to welcome peace into your life. Practicing the art of the pause before responding will assist you greatly in your endeavors. Pause to think about what’s going on before you act.

The Wisdom: The Magician

You have the will to shape and direct the life you desire.

CR-10-12-20-19Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Magician.

Here we have a winged elfin wizard perched upon a stone, creating an orb of energy between his hands. It appears he is drawing from the ambient energy by his will alone.

The advice here is you have the will to shape and direct the life you desire. All you need is clear intent and then align your behaviors with that intent.

Before you can shape and direct your life, you must first accept it for what it truly is right now.

CR-11-12-20-19Before you can shape and direct your life, you must first accept it for what it truly is right now. You can’t shape clay if what you really have is marble to work with. That’s the reality here. You need to know exactly what it is you’re working with before you can get started. This way you will know what resources you need to get you in the direction you want to go.

Any time you feel overwhelmed, break it down into simpler steps.

CR-12-12-20-19Simplicity is the key. Keep your dreams big, but your steps small. This way your momentum stays fast and always moving forward. Any time you feel overwhelmed, break it down into simpler steps.

Take the path of least resistance when you can. Success leaves clues.

CR-13-12-20-19Take the path of least resistance when you can. If you get rejected in one place, readjust and move on to where someone or some place says yes. Don’t keep beating your head against the wall doing the same thing over and over again. Success leaves clues.

Conclusion

[insert Team Toad summary]

CR-14-12-20-19Allow yourself to accept the truth for what it is and use it to choose your battles wisely to simplify and shape your life as you desire. Doing so will bring you greater peace and fulfillment.
