2020 Chaos Rally #02

In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we explore how the ability to love your authentic self is the key to everything else in your life. Read on for details!

This Coming Week’s Reading

CR-01-Week-02-2020The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.

And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.

I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

CR-02-Week-02-2020

The Challenge: Five of Wands

What is it that you are doing that can be changed to bring you more peace?

CR-03-Week-02-2020Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Five of Wands.

This coming week, you are being called to shift the way you view and approach conflict and challenges.

Far too often, we believe the source of the issue is entirely external when in reality it is our own behavior and belief systems that have triggered it.

People at work irritating you? Ask yourself why this is. What are you doing to encourage it? Why do you participate in it and give it your attention?

You and your partner constantly fighting? Ask yourself how often you enter a conversation with the itch to battle. Ask yourself how much effort you are putting into actively listening.

Ask yourself why you are continuously running into the same type of friction in your life. Whether it’s your daily habits, behavioral patterns, or mindset, there is something within you that is calling these challenging situations to you. Be brutally honest with yourself on this one.

What is it that you are doing that can be changed to bring you more peace?

Maybe it’s something as simple as taking the time to calm yourself before speaking. Or perhaps it’s making more of an effort to understand the other side. It could also be not participating in the negativity of others. And you’d be surprised how much in your external environment clears up when you become willing to face, address, and resolve your internal conflicts so you’re not spilling them out onto others.

The Lesson: Two of Cups

Pay attention to how you interact with others.

CR-04-Week-02-2020Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Two of Cups.

The lesson to be learned here is to pay attention to how you interact with others.Doesn’t matter who they are. Children. Adults. Male. Female. Young. Old. Are you remaining in your seat of integrity in each interaction?

Are you coming from a place of courage, love, respect, dignity, compassion, and grace in everything you do each day?

Harmony and teamwork cannot exist when we are seeking out the negative in others. Peace cannot exist if we are acting from the seat of our fears. Unity doesn’t happen when we expect the worst.

Learn how to see the best in yourself and others to create the shift you need for something better. Be willing to give others the benefit of a doubt that you’d like to receive. Treat others the way you desire to be treated.

Lay down your weapons and focus on nurturing the connections you have in your life.

CR-05-Week-02-2020If you are not able to do treat someone as well as you’d like to be treated, why are you spending time with them? Breeding animosity between you will wreck not only the other person, but yourself as well. Relationships of any kind cannot survive and thrive when we forget or ignore the Golden Rule.

Lay down your weapons and focus on nurturing the connections you have in your life.

The Inner Lie: Nine of Wands

You carry the light within you and the only time you are surrounded by darkness is when you refuse to take ownership of your behavior.

CR-06-Week-02-2020Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Nine of Wands.

The inner lie to overcome here is the false belief that we are at the mercy to fate and others. Our actions in every moment build the path that unfolds before us. You carry the light within you and the only time you are surrounded by darkness is when you refuse to take ownership of your behavior. You have the ability to change your daily habits to build a better path for yourself.

Commit to the changes you need to make that will reduce the conflict in your life.

CR-07-Week-02-2020Constant conflict is tiresome, especially when it’s with the same person over and over again. When you find yourself stuck in this type of pattern with someone, ask yourself what it is you are doing to contribute to it.

Remember, you can’t control the behavior of others, but you can control yours so this is what you need to focus on. Commit to the changes you need to make that will reduce the conflict in your life. Change takes time, but stick with it.

Take the time to list out the changes you need to make in order to experience healthy dynamics with others and stick with it in the practice of them.

CR-08-Week-02-2020What do you want each type of relationship in your life to look and feel like? What kind of behaviors can you adopt that will foster and nurture this vision you hold?

Take the time to list out the changes you need to make in order to experience healthy dynamics with others and stick with it in the practice of them.

Be willing to shine a light into your shadow and address within the sources of your negativity.

CR-09-Week-02-2020When we are willing to interact with others from a place of love rather than fear, guilt, or shame, the frequency of conflict fades away. Be willing to shine a light into your shadow and address within the sources of your negativity. By persevering in this task, you will dissolve the inner conflicts and no longer spill that poison onto others.

The Wisdom: The Sun

When you are able to face and accept all that you are, and truly love it, joy is found by living it.

CR-10-Week-02-2020Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Sun.

The wisdom here is to follow your joy and remain in the seat of your truth in all things.

It is easiest to find happiness when we are true to our authentic selves. This means becoming the embodiment of love. Doing what you love. Acting from a place of love. This love I’m talking about here is the compassionate love of the self.

When you are able to face and accept all that you are, and truly love it, joy is found by living it.

Allow love to lead you through conflict to banish fear.

CR-11-Week-02-2020Love and fear cannot exist in the presence of the other. They kill each other. When you act from a place of fear, unnecessary conflicts arise. When you act from a place of love, these conflicts subside.

Allow love to lead you through conflict to banish fear.

You can’t fully share happiness and joy with others until you have found it within your authentic self.

CR-12-Week-02-2020Your happiness is your responsibility. It is not the responsibility of others to find your joy. Furthermore, you can’t fully share happiness and joy with others until you have found it within your authentic self.

You possess all the light you need to shine as you truly are.

CR-13-Week-02-2020Part of being your authentic self and living your truth is owning who you are and how you behave in life. You possess all the light you need to shine as you truly are. You just need to be willing to face and embrace it in order to live a life of joy.

Conclusion

The ability to love your authentic self is the key to everything else in your life.

CR-14-Week-02-2020The ability to love your authentic self is the key to everything else in your life. It becomes natural to find and share your joy. In turn, avoidable conflicts with others fade away. And just as importantly, you discover you have everything you need to endure whatever comes your way.
