In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we are asked to trust our souls as we align our choices with our authentic selves. Read on for details!
This Coming Week’s Reading
The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.
And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.
I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

The Challenge: Eight of Disks
Learn something new or further develop existing skills that will move you forward.
We are all students in life. The learning process never really ends. You are being challenged this coming week to either learn something new or to further develop existing skills that will move you forward.
The Lesson: Judgement
Hold yourself accountable for your actions and reactions.
Life is a series of actions and reactions. The lesson to be learned here is to hold yourself accountable for your actions and reactions. Don’t worry so much about what other people are doing or not doing. You can’t control them, but you can control yourself.
When learning, developing, and using your skills, you will inevitably encounter criticism.
When learning, developing, and using your skills, you will inevitably encounter criticism. Don’t take this personally and don’t allow it to discourage you. Do, however, take it into consideration with a grain of salt. People often mean well, but don’t know how to deliver advice constructively.
The Inner Lie: The Hierophant
You have the power to follow your heart and dreams.
The false belief to overcome here is the inner lie that you must follow the traditions and and expectations placed upon you by society. You don’t have to follow the herd. You have the power to follow your heart and dreams instead. Allow your inner self to guide you through life rather than others.
Don’t permit others to dictate the direction of your personal development.
Whatever skills you learn and work on needs to be determined by you, based on what you need in life. Don’t permit others to dictate the direction of your personal development. They aren’t the ones walking your journey.
You don’t need validation or praise from others to determine where you need to be.
Again, don’t allow the criticisms from others dictate your path. Some people mean well, but others have their own agenda. Either way, it is solely up to you which way you go in your life. You don’t need validation or praise from others to determine where you need to be.
Your life is best served by learning and developing skills that actually move you forward in life.
Your life is best served by learning and developing skills that actually move you forward in life. Decide for yourself as to whether or not advice and criticism applies to your situation and go from there. Just be sure you are the one setting the course of your journey and progress.
The Wisdom: The Hermit
Make the time to use introspection and soul searching in your life.
The wisdom here is to make the time to use introspection and soul searching in your life. Not everything learned and discovered is through others, but rather through your authentic self. It also takes time to understand and integrate the experiences you’ve had to translate them into the wisdom you need.
Use introspection to guide you as to what you need to learn and develop.
Use introspection to guide you as to what you need to learn and develop. It’s through soul searching that you figure out where you truly need to be. And it’s through self-reflection that you are able to track your progress.
Whenever you encounter criticism and judgement, step back to self-reflect upon it.
Whenever you encounter criticism and judgement, step back to self-reflect upon it. Ask yourself if there is any logical truth in what’s being presented to you. If so, ask yourself if there is a need for you to make any changes or adjustments.
Don’t blindly take in what others have to say about your life and don’t allow yourself to auto react to anything being said.
Your soul will serve as the light to guide your way if you are willing to listen.
Search your soul to discover your true life purpose and path. Once you embark on this journey, keep checking in on yourself to ensure you remained aligned with your purpose. Your soul will serve as the light to guide your way if you are willing to listen.
