  • got my files backed up and did a clean install of Windows 10
    • turned off all the stupid “creeping” in the privacy settings during installation
    • uninstalled OneDrive and Skype right out the gate
      • uninstalling Microsoft Edge isn’t even a menu option but I did set it not to run in the background at least
    • slowly reinstalling each program back in, one at a time
      • not sure if it will do me any good, but I created a system restore point after each key program
    • for some reason, my copy of Miku Miku Dance didn’t work this time around but my copy of Miku Miku Moving did when set to run as Admin
      • I don’t even pretend to understand why
    • this has been an all day event

    • decided I will only pull the files back onto my PC as I need them
    • yes, I’m that tired right now and I don’t want to risk fucking up my PC again
    • and why is it when I install shit onto my PC I use less space on my hard drive than when other people install and set up my PC?
      • like, what are they doing? and why is it my PC runs so much slower when they are done with it?
        • my friend knows more about PCs than I do, but so does my brother that knows exactly how I use it and walked me through once how to set it up so it’s optimized for what I need it to do so maybe that’s what the difference is?

      • renders for the remaining posts to be written and scheduled for this year completed
  • picnic dinner with Golden Knight and the boys followed by a trip to the drive-in theater
    • Scholar Owl asked to be dropped off at home instead of going to the drive-in
    • Little Bear behaved incredibly well today
    • my parents were actually pretty chill about all of this since we took our masks with us and Mom bumped into us in transit and saw us with our masks on
