In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we are called upon to reclaim our power through authenticity. Read on for details!
This Coming Week’s Reading
The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.
And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.
I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.
Here is the image of this coming week’s reading.
The Challenge: The Devil
Be more aware of your interpersonal interactions and as a result be more authentic.
The Devil tends to come up when we are feeling trapped by someone or something or as a warning against this. It happens whenever we give away our power. This is usually because on some level we are allowing it for whatever reason.
So how do we lose our personal power? It happens when we start people pleasing. This can happen at work, at home, or in our social circles for a variety of reasons. We think we’re keeping the peace or making others happy, but what we end up doing is sacrificing our autonomy or sense of self. As a result, we are miserable.
The challenge for this coming week is to be more aware of your interpersonal interactions and as a result be more authentic.
For example, don’t say yes to someone if it means saying no to yourself. Make self-care a priority. Speak up as needs arise. Embrace the fact that being kind doesn’t mean being a doormat.
The Lesson: Ace of Wands
Learn how to use your power in your life for your highest good.
The Ace of Wands is the personal power card. This card here is saying you need to learn how to use your power in your life for your highest good. Speak your truth. Make and act upon your decisions. Follow through on them. Get your needs met because they are valid and you don’t need anyone to give you permission for that.
When you take back and protect your power by remaining your authentic self, you live in freedom.
When you take back and protect your power by remaining your authentic self, you live in freedom. Remember that you are only responsible for your behavior. You can’t control the emotions, reactions, or behavior of others. So as long as you are coming from an honest place of love and good intent, you can hold your head high.
If you have caused harm, intentionally or otherwise, then yes make amends if the relationship is important to you. But again, remember you can only control your behavior, not theirs. Let go of what you cannot control.
The Inner Lie: King of Swords
Be willing to step into the heart space while holding onto logic.
Not everything can be solved with pure thought alone. Emotions serve as information as well and need to be honored. Yours and others. Be willing to step into the heart space while holding onto logic. Maintain the working balance of the two.
Overthinking paralyzes you into inaction and opens you up for someone else making a decision for you.
Overthinking is a trap of the mind. It paralyzes you into inaction and opens you up for someone else making a decision for you. Too often you end up giving your power away by overthinking about anything. This is a misery you don’t need.
Yes, do your homework. Go over the facts, but once you have done that you need to make your decision and act upon it with committed follow through.
A lot of energy is lost in overthinking when it can be spent in doing more productive and enjoyable activities.
Your personal power isn’t found in perseverating. A lot of energy is lost in doing that when it can be spent in doing more productive and enjoyable activities. Instead, invest your energy into activities that move you forward in life. If it’s something that supports the life you desire then it’s worth your time. Otherwise, let it go.
By focusing more on being authentic and taking decisive action in your life with what you can control, you take back your power.
By focusing more on being authentic and taking decisive action in your life with what you can control, you take back your power. A life of freedom is yours and you’re well on your way on the path you desire.
The Wisdom: Ace of Pentacles
No matter what you have going on, remember that you have resources of some kind available to you to work with.
This is a card of abundance. Like all other aces, it’s a seed of pure potential. So the wisdom here is that no matter what you have going on, remember that you have resources of some kind available to you to work with.
Don’t be afraid or ashamed to access or make use of whatever you have around you. If it’s people you need help from, don’t be afraid to clearly and directly request help with the understanding they are free to say no. The answer no is not a block. It is simply a redirection to where you need to be. This is what it means to see with an abundance mindset.
When you protect your power by making decisive, authentic choices for yourself, you are able to identify and fully access all the resources you possess.
Too often we fall into a trap of thinking that being rich is about having a ridiculous amount of stuff, when the truth is none of that matters if we don’t have the freedom to do what we need or want with it. And what good is having civil liberties if we don’t have the resources with which enjoy it?
Adopt the abundance mindset. Embrace the knowing that the resources you possess, especially your time and energy, are yours to invest however you desire.
Your greatest resource is the energy of your personal power.
Your greatest resource is the energy of your personal power. Remember that your energy goes where ever your attention is and energy is the currency of the universe. Spend it wisely with intention and purpose.
The more that you can become an observer of your thoughts and emotions, the more you become the master of the Self and the greater access you have to the tools available to you.
Your mind is a powerful and resourceful tool. Be careful that is remains a tool and doesn’t become the master. You are not your thoughts any more than you are your emotions. The more that you can become an observer of your thoughts and emotions, the more you become the master of the Self and the greater access you have to the tools available to you.
Becoming and remaining authentic is the path to true freedom and abundance.
Becoming and remaining authentic is the path to true freedom and abundance. Authenticity reclaims and preserves personal power while investing resources for the highest good. Stay on guard against overthinking and step into the heart space to allow it to speak to you along with the mind. These practices will support you in building the life you desire.
