2020 Chaos Rally #25

In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we are called to find ways to cultivate hope and joy in our lives. Read on for details!

This Coming Week’s Reading

CR-01-Week-25-2020

The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.

And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.

I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

Here is the image of this coming week’s reading.

CR-02-Week-25-2020

The Challenge: The Star

Find ways to discover hope within you and to cultivate it for yourself and those around you.

CR-03-Week-25-2020

Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Star.

Take a look at the image of this card. The night is dark here, but none of these little dragons are alone. They are together. They find hope and comfort in that. The challenge for this coming week is to find ways to discover hope within you and to cultivate it for yourself and those around you.

The Lesson: Page of Wands

Take the time to figure out how to use what sparks your joy to spark it in those around you.

CR-04-Week-25-2020

Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Page of Wands.

Here we have an image of a young girl sharing her joy with another. One of the things we need to be working on this week is learning how to share the things we love with those around us. What sparks your joy and how can you use that to spark joy in others? Take the time to figure that out.

Permit yourself to be your true self so that your light can shine through.

CR-05-Week-25-2020

Joy has a way of breeding hope, creating connection, and dispelling the sense of loneliness. It’s because of this that allowing your spark to shine is a worthy endeavor. Permit yourself to be your true self so that your light can shine through.

The Inner Lie: Seven of Pentacles

It is more about the journey itself rather than the end results.

CR-06-Week-25-2020

Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Seven of Pentacles.

I find this image to be a very interesting depiction of the card. It’s something we don’t think about very often, but parenting is very much a long game investment and one that we never really know what the results of our investment is going to be in the end.

So I think the false belief here is that it is more about the journey itself rather than the end results. The ends don’t always justify the means, do they?

Sometimes it really is more important about how we got there than our actual arrival. And whenever we find ourselves feeling like we aren’t getting anywhere, all we have to do is look back to see how far we have come.

Hope is the energetic emotional fuel that keeps you looking and going forward.

CR-07-Week-25-2020

And again, the Star reminds you to retain and cultivate hope as you progress through your journey. Not just when things are going well. But to cultivate hope when things feel like they are going no where. And most especially when things feel like they are not going well. Hope is the energetic emotional fuel that keeps you looking and going forward.

In what ways are you able to find joy in your current journey and share it with those around you?

CR-08-Week-25-2020

It’s even easier to keep looking and going forward when you feel joy and are able to share it with others. In what ways are you able to find joy in your current journey and share it with those around you?

The ability to share hope and joy with someone expands them further.

CR-09-Week-25-2020

Hope and joy are the emotions that make any journey feel lighter. The ability to share these emotions with someone expands them further. In what ways can you express and share these emotions more to others?

The Wisdom: The Hermit

Remember that critical thinking is something you do on your own, without others telling you what to think.

CR-10-Week-25-2020

Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Hermit.

In this image we see a dragon studying alone. He is learning and applying his critical thinking skills without external input. The wisdom here is to remember that critical thinking is something we do on our own, without others telling us what to think.

Instead of thinking about all the things that something could go wrong, start asking yourself all the ways it could go right.

CR-11-Week-25-2020

So how does critical thinking apply to hope? Instead of thinking about all the things that something could go wrong, start asking yourself all the ways it could go right.

Then if you must ask yourself, out of those two lists, what is the most realistic outcome? From that, is your situation truly a catastrophe or some unrealistic rose-tinted pipe dream? You now have something real to work with.

What makes you happy, deep in your bones, should never be dictated to you by anyone.

CR-12-Week-25-2020

What makes you happy, deep in your bones, should never be dictated to you by anyone. Period. End of story. It’s okay if they don’t like whatever it is you don’t like, but don’t let them extinguish your fire. This is something for you, and you alone, to decide.

Each person’s milestones in life is going to look different and that’s okay.

CR-13-Week-25-2020

When assessing your journey and your progress, be honest with yourself and don’t let anyone tell you where you need to be with some timeline. Each person’s milestones in life is going to look different and that’s okay.

You’re not late or early as long as it feels right for you. Make adjustments only if you feel they are necessary.

Conclusion

Critical thinking puts you in the driver’s seat.

CR-14-Week-25-2020

When you start using critical thinking to shape the life you desire, you will discover more ways to cultivate hope and joy. By increasing the hope and joy you feel in your life, the journey you experience will become more fulfilling. So critical thinking really puts you in the driver’s seat.
