In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we are asked to prepare ourselves for the journey ahead with the choices we make. Read on for details!
This Coming Week’s Reading
The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.
And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.
I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.
Here is the image of this coming week’s reading.
The Challenge: Four of Swords
Focus on being prepared ahead of time.
Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Four of Wands.
This coming week’s challenge is focus on being prepared ahead of time.
Sure, having a to-do list is nice but what good is it if you don’t have everything you need to complete the tasks before you? Basically, this card is saying to make sure you have everything in order to be certain you can perform at your optimal level.
The Lesson: Six of Swords
Learn how to shift yourself from something old into something new with grace and ease as the need arises.
Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Six of Swords.
This card for the most part represents transitions. So the thing here is learning how to shift yourself from something old into something new.
You know, or will know, what it is you need to shift from. Life has a funny way of doing that to us. It will start out as quiet nudges and if we ignore it, those nudges become more persistent until they start feeling urgent.
So it’s not so much as learning how to recognize this and doing it, but learning how to do it with grace and ease. It’s doing it without all of the resistance and fuss that makes these transitions painful and messy.
When you see the signs for a shift coming, you can get ready and lean into it when the time comes.
Preparedness is a part of this shifting process since most of the time, as said before, life tends to give us signals in advance.
We usually know ahead of time when a job change, a relocation, developing new habits, or anything of that nature needs to happen. So when you see the signs for a shift coming, you can get ready and lean into it when the time comes.
The Inner Lie: Nine of Wands
Whatever is going on in your life right now will not last forever.
Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Nine of Wands.
Whatever is going on in your life right now will not last forever. You know, looking at the image of this card those stairs appear to just go on without end. However, all things do eventually come to its conclusion. You just need to hang in there and keep plugging away at it the best you can.
When we rest and prepare ourselves, the journey forward becomes easier to take on.
When we rest and prepare ourselves, the journey forward becomes easier to take on. So whenever we find ourselves feeling overwhelmed it’s a signal not to quit, but to step back and regroup. Once we’ve taken that time to refresh and collect ourselves we can come back and tackle the challenge again.
However daunting a transition may be, it’s important to keep at it in order to see it through.
However daunting a transition may be, it’s important to keep at it in order to see it through. This is where that old saying, “The only way out is through,” comes to mind. Sometimes certain events occur in life that simply require us to shift in one direction or another, whether we like it or not.
And this shift could be a change in perspective, changes in habits, changes in a job or location. It depends on the event or situation.
You may even find that some of the burdens you’ve been carrying aren’t even yours to carry.
So by being open to shifting as needed and preparing yourself for that, any challenges you encounter on your long journey become easier to manage. You may even find that some of the burdens you’ve been carrying aren’t even yours to carry. If this is the case, it’s completely acceptable to let them go.
The Wisdom: The Wheel of Fortune
The more mindful and intentional you are with your choices, the more likely you are to see the opportunities and outcomes you desire when you need them.
Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Wheel of Fortune.
Your destiny and fate is built upon the choices you make from one moment to the next. I keep saying this, so I feel like a broken record here, but even inaction is a choice.
So think of your choices as the path of your life unfolding before you. You never know how a choice you made ten years ago, or more, ends up turning out to be the seed for an opportunity that pops up today. You never know what seeds you are planting even now or how quickly they will ripen.
The more mindful and intentional you are with your choices, the more likely you are to see the opportunities and outcomes you desire when you need them.
Most of manifestation is in the preparation and without it your destiny remains vague and nebulous.
This is where preparation becomes really important and is a key aspect of manifestation. First, you need a clear idea of what it is you desire. Then you need to get really clear as to what steps you need to achieve that. Finally, you need to act upon those steps.
So as you can see, most of manifestation is in the preparation. Visualization and planning. Without it, your destiny remains vague and nebulous and your path unfolds in a meandering sort of way.
I don’t really have anything against meandering. It’s actually a good way to discover the self and the world. It’s just most people get frustrated with it.
Even the transitions that feel like they’re being thrown at you are a result of choices you have made.
Even the transitions that feel like they’re being thrown at you are a result of choices you have made.
Something happening at your workplace? At the very least, you originally chose to work there. The list could go on with this, but the point here is don’t fall into the trap known as the “Illusion of Choice” because you always have a choice, always did, and always will – even when it feels like you don’t.
The truth is when it comes to choices is that it isn’t whether you have them or not, but if the choices produce the outcomes you desire.
So sometimes a choice, or a series of choices, we made a year ago, five years ago, or whatever, sets us on a path that results in a transition that we didn’t expect. This can make it feel like it’s being forced upon us when really it was our doing all along.
The choices we make also determine how difficult or smooth our journey is.
The choices we make also determine how difficult or smooth our journey is.
Are you resisting the path that’s unfolding before you? This makes it more difficult.
How chaotic, disorganized, and dysregulated are you? This also increases the difficulty.
Are you practicing self-care? The less you’re doing this, the more difficult your journey becomes.
It’s important to examine and own your behavior. Ask yourself if what you’re doing is serving your highest good at this time.
Conclusion
Understand that all the choices you make shape the life you experience.
Understand that all the choices you make shape the life you experience. Become more mindful and intentional with these choices. Look at the journey before you and determine ahead of time what it is you need to be doing to move forward with a lighter heart.
