With that said, in the context of self-care, I take this card to mean there is a need to improve emotional self-regulation skills.
My Suggested Self-Care Activity for the Week
Based on the meaning of this card, the activity I would suggest to try doing each day until next Wednesday is remaining aware of how you feel, the stories you tell yourself about your feelings, and how the behavior you chose in response to them aligns with your values.
The reason for this is emotion is energy in motion, which ultimately drives behavior. In turn, the results of our behavior either aligns with our values and uplifts us or doesn’t align and drags us down. Every time we experience an emotion, it’s a message from our subconscious based upon the belief sets we hold. We can choose to change that with awareness and practice through the stories we tell ourselves.
