Consider a long-term goal you’ve had. Did you take the time to carefully plan out the steps for it ahead of time? Is this goal completed or are you still working towards it? Describe in your journal how this worked out for you. As you reflect upon your experience, name at least one thing about it that you are grateful for.
If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
