Think back to a time when you needed to be assertive. What was going on and why did you need to make such a move? How did things work out for you? How did you feel before and after? What aspects of this do you feel grateful about?
If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
