2020 Chaos Rally #35

In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, you’re being called to assess the progress of your goals and make adjustments as needed. Read on for details!

This Coming Week’s Reading

CR-01-Week-35-2020

The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.

And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.

I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

CR-02-Week-35-2020

The Challenge: Seven of Pentacles

The challenge for this coming week is to assess the progress of your goals and make adjustments as needed.

CR-03-Week-35-2020

Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Seven of Pentacles.

The challenge for this coming week is to assess the progress of your goals and make adjustments as needed. This includes knowing when the work is done and thus time to release a project so it can develop whatever fruit it’s going to bear.

The Lesson: Justice

The lesson here is learning how to take better responsibility for your actions.

CR-04-Week-35-2020

Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within Justice.

The lesson here is learning how to take better responsibility for your actions. It means owning your behavior and correcting it whenever the need arises. No one likes to be wrong. No one likes to make mistakes. Having said this, there isn’t a need to make a situation worse by denying human flaws.

Achieving your goals are your responsibility and burden. It doesn’t belong to someone else.

CR-05-Week-35-2020

When you are assessing your goals, focus on what you’re doing rather than what others may or may not being doing. Achieving your goals are your responsibility and burden. It doesn’t belong to someone else. Other people cannot and should not do this for you.

If you’re not meeting your goals, ask yourself what it is you need to be doing differently to get yourself there.

The Inner Lie: Ten of Wands

When life feels overwhelming, take the time to adjust what you’re carrying in life.

CR-06-Week-35-2020

Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Ten of Wands.

Sometimes life feels overwhelming. When it does, take the time to check what you’re carrying in life. Are all the burdens you hold truly yours to carry? Can you delegate some of the tasks before you? Can you start saying no to some of this?

When you feel overwhelmed with your goals, take the time to break them down into smaller steps.

CR-07-Week-35-2020

When you feel overwhelmed with your goals, take the time to break them down into smaller steps. Focus on each step one at a time. You don’t need to tackle a big project all at once.

It’s really important to remember not to take on the responsibilities of others.

CR-08-Week-35-2020

It’s really important to remember not to take on the responsibilities of others.

Their healing is theirs alone. You cannot do this for them. You cannot save them from the consequences of their actions without preventing them from learning the lessons they need to. Doing so only keeps them stuck.

The same thing can be said of you expecting others to do this for you. It’s one thing to be supportive, but it’s entirely something else to be codependent and enabling. It’s not healthy and creates overwhelm.

By keeping in mind what is actually yours to carry, you are able to assess the progress of your goals with greater honesty.

CR-09-Week-35-2020

By keeping in mind what is actually yours to carry, you are able to assess the progress of your goals with greater honesty. Hold yourself accountable.

How much attention, time, and energy are you spending on other people’s stuff versus your own? How much are expecting others to do the same for you? This is where the true meaning of “Stay in your lane” resides. Focus on what you need to be doing and adjust your behavior accordingly.

The Wisdom: Queen of Wands

Pay close attention to the dynamics of all your interpersonal relationships.

CR-10-Week-35-2020

Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Queen of Wands.

Pay close attention to the dynamics of all your interpersonal relationships.

Who brings out the best in you? Who brings out the worst in you? Who uplifts you? Who drags you down? Which of these relationships are you investing in and cultivating?

Pay attention to which people actually hinder or block the path for you versus the ones who don’t.

CR-11-Week-35-2020

Who in your life do you make the most progress when you’re with them? Who honestly supports your goals? Who is happy for your progress? Who is constantly a distraction? Are there people who outright sabotage you? Pay attention to which people actually hinder or block the path for you versus the ones who don’t.

Pay attention to who is fair and equitable versus those who aren’t.

CR-12-Week-35-2020

Pay attention to who is fair and equitable versus those who aren’t. Who plays favorites? Who doesn’t? Who takes over on you and doesn’t allow you to do it for yourself? Who expects you to do it for them rather than do it themselves?

In this particular area, it’s critical to pay attention to the patterns of behavior and the overall trend – not just once in awhile.

Pay attention to the types of burdens being placed upon you and the ones you place on others.

CR-13-Week-35-2020

Who is overwhelming to you? Who leaves you holding the bag, expecting you to play rescue? Who swoops in on you like a white knight and treats you like a helpless damsel in distress? Is there someone that has a pattern of playing the emotional drive by but then is never emotionally available for you? Is the emotional drive by something you tend to do to other people without being available to them?

These are all burdens you do not need. These are also burdens no one else ever needs either. Be mindful of the interactions you are having.

Conclusion

The progress you experience with your goals greatly depends on how accountable you are holding yourself.

CR-14-Week-35-2020

The progress you experience with your goals greatly depends on how accountable you are holding yourself. This has a lot to do with the relationship dynamics you have and where your locus of control is.

If you’re blaming your lack of progress on everyone else, then this means you place the burden of your behavior on others. It doesn’t matter if the reason is because people are not helping you, they’re standing in your way, or you’re too busy helping them.

You are choosing to engage in this dynamic and giving your locus of control away when you do have options. I am aware that domestic violence greatly complicates matters. Even there, you still have options. I promise. You may need a safety plan in order to exit, but it can be done.

At any point, you have the option to disengage in some way.

Whatever baggage other people have it’s not yours to carry. Ever. Doesn’t matter what they tell you. The moment you start dealing with someone else’s baggage is the moment you start derailing your own goals.

Remember that support can be provided without doing it for them.
