Think back to a time when your dishonesty was revealed. Who was involved at the time and what was it that you were dishonest about? Did you come forward on your own, or did someone discover the truth? Was this a truth you were hiding or was this something you outright lied about? How did you feel afterwards once it was revealed? Now that this truth is out, what are you grateful for about this experience?
If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
