Self-Care with Five of Wands

Welcome to Self-Care with tarot! Each week we will go over one tarot card and explore how it can be used to inspire a self-care activity for the week. This week is the Five of Wands.


Introduction and Meaning of the Card

With that said, in the context of self-care, I take this card to mean there is a need to examine your approach to challenges.


My Suggested Self-Care Activity for the Week

Based on the meaning of this card, the activity I would suggest to try doing each day until next Wednesday is to keep in mind that whether the challenge is a disagreement or a competition, the mindset you bring into it matters. Are you going in right off the bat with aggression? Is your ego full on tap? Or are you going in with curiosity and ready to discover? Even during a competition, there is an opportunity to learn and grow with humility.
