2020 Chaos Rally #38

In this coming week’s wellness tarot challenge, we’re asked to shift the mind away from focusing on problems to the things we can do. Read on for details!

This Coming Week’s Reading

CR-01-Week-38-2020

The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.

And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.

I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

The Challenge: Ten of Coins

Shift into a solution focused mindset.

CR-03-Week-38-2020

Monday Button’s position represents the challenge you need to be working on at this time. Thus, what you need to be working on right now is found within the Ten of Coins.

This coming week, the challenge is to shift into a solution focused mindset. Rather than ruminating on the problems in your life, resolve them by zeroing in on what you can do.

The reason for this is, when we focus on problems, that’s all we see. Our attention doesn’t allow us to look at anything else. When we focus on solutions instead, doors of opportunity begin to reveal themselves to us. So practice acknowledging the issue and then shifting yourself to turning your attention to what can be done.

The Lesson: Two of Coins

Understand that it takes practice to reach a point where you can do something with grace and ease.

CR-04-Week-38-2020

Grim Lee’s position represents what you need to be learning while working on your challenge. Therefore, your lesson at this time is found within the Two of Coins.

This card is about balance and flow. Much like a juggler or dancer, in life we need to make constant adjustments to make stuff happen. The lesson here is understanding that it takes practice to reach a point where you can do it with grace and ease.

Any time you find yourself stuck ruminating on a problem, ask yourself what is one thing you can do right now to make things better.

CR-05-Week-38-2020

If you’re not used to focusing on solutions, it will take some getting used to. Give yourself some grace and keep practicing. Any time you find yourself stuck ruminating on a problem, ask yourself what is one thing you can do right now to make things better. It might not solve the problem right away, but at least it will be a step towards improvement.

The Inner Lie: Ace of Cups

Trust yourself enough to tap into your innate creativity, inspiration, and self expression when you need it.

CR-06-Week-38-2020

Murphy Law’s position represents the false belief you need to overcome while working on your challenge. The inner lie at this time is revealed within the Ace of Cups.

This card is about inspiration, creativity, and self expression. And you have all of that at your disposal at any time. It takes some practice to trust yourself enough to tap into it, but it’s there.

Live within your truth in order to find the solutions you need.

CR-07-Week-38-2020

Live within your truth in order to find the solutions you need. The first step is being honest with yourself about what’s really going on in your life. You can’t change your life for the better if you’re lying and saying you’re happy or okay with something when you’re really not. Once you admit to at least yourself that you’re not okay with it, then you can start to address it for what it really is.

You know what does and doesn’t work for you. Be honest about that.

CR-08-Week-38-2020

An imbalanced life does not bring happiness. And what is balanced for one person isn’t going to feel balanced for another person. So again, live in your truth. You know what does and doesn’t work for you. Be honest about that. It doesn’t need to look the same as everyone else’s life, so don’t worry about that.

Living your truth means seeking solutions that align with your authentic self rather than people pleasing.

CR-09-Week-38-2020

Being honest with yourself and others is critical in order to find the solutions and balance you seek. If you cannot express how you really feel or what you really think to yourself or others, then you will remain stuck. Living your truth means being authentic. It means seeking solutions that align with your authentic self rather than people pleasing.

The Wisdom: The Star

The best way for you to shine as a person is to be yourself.

CR-10-Week-38-2020

Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Star.

First and foremost, the Star represents hope. It also suggests serenity and generosity. But one more thing it indicates is the need for you to shine. The best way for you to shine as a person is to be yourself. Nothing bolsters our hope quite like having the sense that we’re completely free to be ourselves.

When faced with a problem, ask yourself what is the one thing you can do that is the most productive and uplifting that you can do right now.

CR-11-Week-38-2020

So when faced with a problem, ask yourself what is the one thing you can do that is the most productive and uplifting that you can do right now. Again, it may not immediately solve the issue, and that’s okay, but if it moves you forward and improves your life then that’s what matters. Every small step counts.

No, you don’t want to cause harm to others but there is a distinct difference between harm and disappointment.

CR-12-Week-38-2020

You need to do what is best for you. No, you don’t want to cause harm to others but there is a distinct difference between harm and disappointment. Ask yourself if you really need to be sacrificing your long-term happiness for the sake of the short-term gain of others. This is what happens when you engage in people pleasing. Stop putting yourself on hold and start living your life.

Your emotions are valid and you have the right to feel and express them.

CR-13-Week-38-2020

Your emotions are valid and you have the right to feel and express them. No, you don’t want them in the driver’s seat controlling every move you make but in the same token, you don’t want to feel invisible either. Recognize that while emotions are not facts, they are still messages from the subconscious mind in response to stimulus. Emotions do not come from out of no where. Name them, claim them, sit with them, and then decide what to do about them.

Conclusion

Being your authentic self is the key to your best life.

CR-14-Week-38-2020

Being your authentic self is the key to your best life. It opens the doorway to your inner truth, which leads to the solutions you seek. It clears the path for your creativity and inspiration since it unlocks your emotions for you to tap into. By releasing the need to people please, you are better able to balance your life that best works for you. Doing this one thing makes it easier to shift the mind away from focusing on problems and onto the things you can do.
