Think back to a time where you felt so anxious or worried about something that you couldn’t sleep. When was this? What were you worried about? How did you cope with it? Where did you learn these coping skills? Write all of this down in your journal in detail. Be sure to include the aspects you feel gratitude towards.
If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
