Chaos Wave: Ten of Swords

Welcome to the Chaos Wave! This week we will be exploring music with the Ten of Swords to be later used has a creative writing prompt or brainstorming tool, or simply a means to explore our own emotions when we need to.

It’s often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. I believe the reason for this is that visual art has a way of tapping into our symbolic and metaphoric vocabularies on a subconscious level. In doing so, it evokes emotion within us.

In many ways, we can treat this as an extension of the Emotional Tarot series on this blog. You can choose music from any genre, based on the lyrics, or solely on how the piece makes you feel.

The goal of this series is to map additional associations to each card in our subconscious minds, using keywords and music. The intent is to improve our ability to read the cards by association and increase our creative thought processes.

By the end of this series, we will have increased the size of our word bank for the cards and have play lists to work with for a variety of purposes.
