When was the last time you felt heartbroken? What happened to cause you so much pain? Do you feel that you have recovered from it? Did you, or do you, have the support for the healing process? Who supports you? Write all of the details of this experience down in your journal along with the aspects of it that you are grateful for.
If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
