Think back to a time where you felt stuck in a situation and you weren’t sure how to get yourself out of it. When was this in your life and what were the circumstances? How did you eventually figure it out? Did you have help from someone, and if so, who was this person? Describe all of this in your journal and take the time to express gratitude for finding your way out.
If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
