When was the last time you delved deep into your thoughts without all of the distractions the world has to offer? Where did your thoughts go? Did it bring up uncomfortable feelings, or did you learn something about yourself or about life in general? Is this something you do often or do you generally avoid it? Take the time to consider what you can be grateful for in regards to idle thought.
If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
