When was the last time you felt comfortable and safe to be completely yourself in the environment you were in? Where was this? Were you alone or with someone else? What were you doing at the time? How were you feeling? Describe the details of this moment, along with what you’re grateful for about it, in your journal.
If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
