Think back to a time when your perception of something was different from someone else’s perception. Who was it and what was going on? How did you see it versus how they saw it? What was the outcome? How did this make you feel at the time? How do you feel about it now as you reflect upon it? Are there aspects of this experience that you’re grateful for? Describe in your journal the details of all this.

If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
