Think about something you don’t, or can’t, tolerate. What are the reasons behind it? How do you handle a situation when it comes up? When was the last time you needed to address it? What were the circumstances behind it and how did it play out? How did it make you feel at the time versus how you feel about it now as you reflect upon it? Explain all of this in your journal along with the aspects of it that you’re grateful for and why.


If you can only think of one thing you’re grateful for to write about in your journal, that’s okay. One thing is better than nothing, right? And if for some reason this prompt is leaving you stumped, you can always write about something else you’re grateful for instead. The entire point of this is to get you started, not to confine you in any way. Happy writing!
