Welcome to Self-Care with tarot! Each week we will go over one tarot card and explore how it can be used to inspire a self-care activity for the week. This week is the Ten of Swords.
Introduction and Meaning of the Card
With that said, in the context of self-care, I take this card to mean that when you’re feeling at your worst, remember the only place left to go is up.
My Suggested Self-Care Activity for the Week
Based on the meaning of this card, the activity I would suggest to try doing each day until next Wednesday is to remember that not matter how bad things may seem, going up is always an option. Hell, when you hit rock bottom it’s the only option.
Difficult times don’t last forever and comparing your pain with the pain of others is a waste of energy. Pain is pain. It’s all valid. Instead use your energy to heal and dig yourself out of whatever hole you’re in. It’s a much better use of your time and effort.
Do You have any Self-Care Activity Ideas to Suggest?
