Goblin Chronicles 2021-10-04

I’ve still been tinkering around on Minecraft. My current project with datapacks and the custom worldgen has been learning how the custom processor list files work.

So instead of building say, multiple variants of the same structure, I can now build just one and then script multiple files to replace the blocks in it to match whatever theme I want it to have. It took me awhile to figure out the different block state tags for various blocks, but I think I’ve got it sorted out now. The only thing I would like to know now is what the jigsaw replacement as a processor type since the wiki doesn’t explain that and I didn’t find it anywhere else in a Google search yet. I haven’t gotten around to experimenting with it yet, so I have no idea what it does.

Anyhow, here’s a quick look at what I’ve been working on and testing:

I’d like to build an Illager city or a metropolis of some kind eventually and some interesting dungeon complexes too. I still want to continue working on my Endonia project too. Just not sure exactly what all I want to do with this stuff, really. Maybe I just like making and and learning how to do it I guess?

In any case, oddly enough, this is what I tend to do when I’m thinking about other things. So I suppose this is why I never really do more than this with Minecraft.
