The purpose of this Chaos Rally tarot reading is to take a look at the coming week and see in what way we can challenge ourselves to do better in regards to our overall wellness. I ask you to approach this as a fun brainstorming session of possibilities rather than me prescribing a course of action to you.

And again, in terms of wellness I want to point out that this applies to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the self. All four of these comprise the total sense of being and need to be taken care of in order to be well. As always, and I cannot stress this enough, be sure to speak to the appropriate professional before making changes to your care plan. This is especially true if my reading for some reason inspires a change in diet, exercise, supplements, or medications, or even raises a concern regarding to your health.

I’m not a specialist in any of these fields. My goal is to look at how to manage wellness in the presence and with the cooperation of your professional care team. Please keep this in mind when going over this reading.

Yes, work is important but what good is it if you aren’t able to enjoy what you are working for? What good is it if it drains you of your vitality? Joy infuses and restores you with uplifting energy. There is nothing wrong with ensuring you have this in your life. If anything, it’s critical that you do.

The lesson for this coming week in learning how to properly rest in order to prepare.

There are many different ways of resting. Sleep comes to mind first and foremost. But there is also the mental, emotional, and spiritual types of rest as well. Sometimes sleep alone isn’t enough.

What puts your mind, heart, and soul at ease in such a way that also helps you feel rested? Meditation is one way to achieve this, but there are other ways as well.

So these other ways come in the form of:

  • passive rest
    • which means idle time for the mind and away from the internet, phones, and social media, which allows the brain to simply wander
  • active rest
    • which means light physical activity for the body that gets you moving but isn’t too strenuous
  • social rest
    • which means uplifting social connection with those you have a meaningful relationship with

Resting needs to feel enjoyable in order for it to be effective.

The important thing to keep in mind with resting is that it needs to feel enjoyable in order for it to be effective. If it feels like a chore to you in any way, then you’re not resting. If there is performance anxiety involved with this in any way, then you’re not resting.

Resources are available to you if you are willing to seek them out and tap into them.

Resources are available to you if you are willing to seek them out and tap into them. Sometimes it means getting a little creative. Other times it means redefining the budget. It may even mean picking up a few extra hours at work for awhile. Just because you don’t see it right away doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

Check in with yourself and make sure you investing your time and energy into people and things that uplift and inspire you.

Once again I need to state that resources is not just your money. Resources is also your time and energy as well as the people you know.

If you’re not enjoying yourself during the majority of your daily life, you start to feel robbed of your life. And when you start feeling that way, it is time to start asking yourself if your time and energy investments is worth investing in.

Check in with yourself and make sure you investing your time and energy into people and things that uplift and inspire you.

How can you improve your ability to rest with the circumstances you have?

Again, this taps into the resources of time and energy. What’s draining you and exhausting you? How can you eliminate or mitigate those things in your life? How can you improve your ability to rest with the circumstances you have?

Yes, money is important, but how well can you earn it if you’re dead on your feet? A well rested individual is better able to perform at their best compared to someone who is bone tired all the time. There’s no way to get around this fact.

It’s important to manage your time and energy appropriately.

It’s important to manage your time and energy appropriately. Doing so allows you to get the rest you need so you can enjoy life the way you’d like and perform the way you desire. This opens up your resources to permit your life to flow in a more fluid way.

The Wisdom: Seven of Pentacles

Remember that in order to yield anything it takes time and effort.

Wise Toad’s position represents the wisdom to keep in mind as you work on your challenge. The wisdom you need at this time is found within the Seven of Pentacles.

The wisdom here is to remember that in order to yield anything it takes time and effort. You don’t harvest fruit the same day you plant the seeds.

So you need to put in the effort, assess your progress, and make adjustments as you go. Eventually you will reach your goal.

You are allowed to enjoy the process.

Remember also that it’s about the journey and that it doesn’t need to be a drudging chore. You are allowed to enjoy the process. You are allowed to take joy in watching things unfold, progress, and develop in your life.

The growth and development process includes resting too.

The growth and development process includes resting too. Whether it’s physical growth or not, a lot can happen during that resting phase. Be willing to embrace each phase of the journey.

Trust that you will have the resources when you need them during each phase of your journey as well.

Trust that you will have the resources when you need them during each phase of your journey as well. Developing creative ways to seek them out when the need arises is part of the process. Again it’s about tapping into who and what you know here and making the best use of what you’ve got.

In order to see your goals come to fruition, you need to be willing to balance rest, fun, and work in such a way that your resources flow in the direction you need them to.

Start taking a hard look at what you’re investing your time and energy into and how it makes you feel. Ask yourself what would make you feel better over all. What would make you feel happier, more rested, and more productive? In what ways can you shift so that you are closer to having all three in your life right now?
